General description:
The biomass dryer is used with all types of biomass requiring thermal conditioning.
Type of test:
- Speed: Adjustable from 0.1 to 1.75 rpm
- Specifications: Two Maxon Ovenpak 425 burners, each with a capacity of 2.5 MMBTU, fueled by natural gas
- Temperature: Adjustable range from 55°C to 150°C
- Supply fan: 15,000 CFM
- Exhaust fan: 6,500 CFM
- Throughput: 1 tonne per hour to dry feedstock from 35% to 10% moisture content
- Two drying compartments with variable temperature, up to 150°C
