General description:
Single‑frame, single‑stage hydraulic batch press designed by Dieffenbacher for research and development of wood‑based panels, intended for unit‑scale testing. A specialized control station allows the simulation of complex pressing cycles, programmed in multiple steps with regulation of temperature, pressure, and panel thickness.
Applications:
Manufacturing of prototype panels (MDF, OSB, particleboard, and next-generation panels); development and validation of adhesive and resin formulations; establishment and optimization of pressing cycles; production of samples for physicomechanical characterization; technology readiness level (TRL) scaling-up tests prior to industrial transfer.
