Film extrusion line – monoaxial stretching unit (MDO)

General description:

This unit can be connected directly to the extrusion blow-molding/casting line (in-line) or operated independently (off-line). This process produces a film stretched only in the machine direction.

Characteristics :

• The stretching rollers can be adjusted in both speed and distance.
• The MDO unit output ranges from 5 to 30 m/min.
• Maximum winding speed: N = 130 rpm.
• Equipped with 5 preheating rollers, with temperature easily adjustable from the control panel, Tmax = 190 °C.
• 2 stretching rollers (fixed and variable). The stretch ratio depends on the speed of the two rollers, their temperature, and the gap (distance) between them.
• 2 annealing rollers used to relieve any accumulated tension/stress in the film.
• Cooling roller ensures efficient heat transfer and cooling of the film.
• Touchscreen control panel mounted on a freely rotating stand for convenient operation.
