Leakage current measurements

MANUFACTURER Agilent
MODEL 4140B

General description:

High precision leakage measures

Characteristics :

  • The HP 4140B pA Meter/DC Voltage Source provides a stable picoampere meter with a maximum resolution of 10-15 A, and two programmable dc voltage sources. This, along with the programmable hold and step delay function, lets you make synchronized measurements on a device or on material.
  • Stable, high resolution current measurements: 0.001 x 10-12 A to 1.999 x 10-2 A, accuracy 0.5%, 3.5 digit display
  • Calculated capacitance range: 0.1 pF to 1999 pF (in two ranges)
  • Measurement times: ~4 ms to 2.56 s
  • Zero offset
  • Trigger: INT, EXT, HOLD/MAN
  • Input terminal: Triaxial
  • Measurement functions: I-V, C-V, I
  • Voltage source output range: ±100 in 10 mV steps, ramp rate 0.001 V/s to 1.000 V/s
  • Selectable integration times – short, medium, or long
  • Line filter
  • Automatic or manual ranging
  • Self-test
  • Analog output for plotting I-V, C-V data
  • Selectable source current limit
  • Voltage sweep functions: AUTO/START, MAN (PAUSE), STEP, ABORT
  • Quasi-Static C-V measurements
  • HP-IB interface: SH1, AH1, T5, L4, SR1, RL1, DC1, DT1
  • Manual or programmable parameter selection and data entry.
