| MODEL | Microscope Olympus BX51 40 et platine THMS600 |
General description:
The Olympus BX51 is a versatile optical microscope capable of meeting both routine imaging needs and those of more advanced applications, whether in transmission or reflection mode. The microscope is equipped with a high-definition camera. A wide range of accessories is also available to best meet the specific needs of the system being imaged, including a variety of objectives, polarizers, wave plates, and filters.
Applications:
Optical microscopy is often an excellent starting point for understanding a material. For example, the images obtained provide a quick and effective way to understand the various stages of a product’s manufacturing process by establishing relationships between morphology, microstructure, and properties.
Examples of applications include: observing the morphology of polymer blends; studying molecular orientation and residual stresses through birefringence analysis (liquid crystals and polymers); identifying contamination; and determining the causes of product failure.
Characteristics :
- Trinocular configuration
- Köhler illumination (transmission) & epi-illumination (reflection)
- Transmission and reflection in brightfield, darkfield, and cross-polarized modes
- 6-position objective turret
- Available objectives: 10x; 20x; 50x; 100x
- Light source: 100 W halogen lamp
